For peace of mind and comfort do not go to this gym.
I have been a member here for 4 weeks this August. The pitch to make me sign a membership was great but after that it all fell apart. The facilities are not cleaned well at all. There is dust on equipment. The spray bottle for the tanning beds only had water in them many times. The mens locker room only has one stall and barely any room to move around in. There are no vents to let the steam from the showers escape. The only music that is played is techno beats- there is no variety. Staff is made up of inexperienced sales people and no fitness trainers. Who often do not know how to solve problems and are very rude. Members are hassled everyday for referrals. Its impossible to get a workout. The "boxing" classes are a joke. A self profeesed martial arts movie learned instructor teaches theseeclasses. He has no certification of any sort.
Finally, they have the most crooked billing system. Double billing and extra fees not mentioned in the membership price show up often on ones bank account. Also they lie to you and tell you its not a contract and that you can get out of it anytime. Such is not the case. Its a 24 month contract that keeps you stuck after 3 days.
For peace of mind and comfort do not go to this gym.
I joined Riviera Fitness Center when I began attending Alabama A&M. I could always go to the gym to work out or let off steam, and I gained a relationship with the people who work there. It is a very comfortable environment. I would recommend it to anyone!!
