I would recommend the club to anyone who wanted want to workout with weights and cardio. I think that the other review I read was written when the old ownership was there. The club has new equipment that is always working and the people working there are always friendly and helpful. The club also is about half the price of the other clubs in the area.

Basic Weight Training & Aerobics
An older neighborhood gym without the frills, but good free weights, strength training machines, cardio classes, sauna and spa at a low, no-contract monthly fee ($35 presently). Nice people working out there too. I like it and go more regularly than I ever did at Golds.

Don't go there!

Nice front-desk staff - but they have no responsibility, are unconcerned with the happenings at the gym, and have no power to fix constantly broken equipment.  Management will not respond to the issue of broken equipment and will not offer refunds for broken contracts due to a lack of facilities.

Lockers are often broken, and key exchange is poorly secured.  You give them your keys or ID for a locker key, but if they're busy they'll let you go behind the desk to get one yourself - at which point anyone could potentially steal everyone's personal items.
