Reading some of the reviews I had to laugh, complaining that you get to hot after a spinning class? You should sweat! I have been a member for over 2 years and love this place. I have found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. After my husband fell ill I actually got a personal letter from Kathryne the Manager wishing him well and offering a shoulder to cry on. When my husband passed away, Kathyanne actually went to the wake. A total stranger going out of her way for me. I no longer am a member ONLY for the reason that I am no longer in good health. I will always remember the kindness shown from a woman at Fitness 4000. Excellent staff, clean, friendly atmosphere.

Worst Gym ever, over priced and rude staff. Don't waste your time and money. Big Rip off with expensive contracts and staff is clueless and non-educated.

Imagine having over 25 members sweating together in a room the size of 2 average waiting rooms... And imagine only 2 fans to cool us off!!! It gets as hot as you can imagine and as stinky as you can imagine too! Sometimes it feels as all the air is being swallowed up by those riding next to you and you may pass out from lack of oxygen! Even though we have complained over and over again, NOTHING gets done!

Be Careful
They have a rule that you cannot rejoin once you've canceled your membership. This is totally bizarre. I moved and had to cancel and then wanted to rejoin when I moved back and they wouldn't let me. Although its nice inside, it really is not the friendliest place around.

Amazing
Being a Wallingford resident for 30 years, it's nice to see a top quality gym in my area. It is so nice it makes you wanna go. The people are great and they keep the place spotless. Top of the line equipment. The membership could be cheaper, but you for sure get your monies worth if you use all the offer to you. I look forward to my work-outs even more knowing how much they have there. Good stuff and I give it a A+. Thanks Fitness 4000 to coming to my home town.

Equipment is awesome, staff is friendly, non-intimidating atmosphere.

stay away from this gym
This gym has many ridiculous requirements about having to call 24hrs in advance to take a group class - the classes are often full. The front desk is very rude.
There are no nutritional programs, no apex, no body tracking, nothing.
This is the worst gym I have ever been to and I have been to In Shape, North Haven Health and Racquet, Manhattan Fitness, Elite, and all far outrank this new joke of a gym
