Nice people. Nice club
My family has had a membership for about 18 years now. Our kids have grown up there and my wife has been an avid tennis player for years. very family oriented and group activity oriented. If you like to do things on your own and have facilities to yourself, then this may not be the best place as the other reviewer indicated, because they put a lot of emphasis on group activities. For example, there are lots and lots of aerobic and exercise classes of all types. But if you are committed and really want to do things in solitude, the only solution is to go off-peak, which can work out well for the committed person anyway since the club is more empty. I like to lift weights by myself so I can move fast, and when I have done early morning workouts, the same people are usually there and it is very easy to strike up casual acquaintances and regular partnerships in activities. Instructors are nice. Most make money through personal training so they are always looking to make friends who then sign up for their classes. There are lots of motivational activities and contests for all sports: biggest loser, basketball league, racquetball leagues, and of course, lots and lots of tennis (Junior, adult, senior, Tennis Association rated and friendly tennis scrambles). Lots of socials and mixers. And the instructors and trainers are fairly long term and are very personable and friendly. My wife had developed deep relationships with the tennis staff and regular tennis players. In all, I think it is a great club with a lot of variety. We have enjoyed our membership and gladly pay the family fee, which is more expensive than a typical weights/aerobics only gym, but less expensive than a country club.

Nice facility, poor customer service
Had a family membership for two years and my constant complaint has been that group sessions or classes are regularly scheduled at prime times. This makes using the facilities inconvenient and bothersome (i.e. swim classes will take 3 or 4 of 5 lanes leaving the rest of us to swim in overcrowded lanes or only leaving 30 minutes for open swim between classes). I realize this is an issue of extra revenue.
Complaints to membership services have also been a lesson in futility, and don't dream of leaving without giving the minimum of 30 days advance notice, or they will threaten to use collection services.
