Gold's Gym

My husband and I had month-to-month memberships with Gold's Gym in Gaithersburg, MD. We both canceled our memberships, and we've been told that we are going to be charged one more time. We both had been charged twice after the cancellation. I called the gym's accountant to discuss the issue. He stated that was the correct way to be charged, and that he has cancellation letter I submitted, but he can't read the exact date (that was hand written). I had copy of the letter and I was able to read the date without problems. I don't think I need to say more. I have been lied to by Gold's Gym representative, and the gym was trying to rip me and my husband off.

I gave them a notice to cancel my membership 2 months in advance. But they never submitted the notice to the ABC automatic billing. When I started the gym they took money for the first month and the last month. Now he is charging me double for the last month and plus he didnt even cancel my membership. The other employers who work there don't even know what the rules are. The owners say something else and the employers give you different information. The place is not even clean. The women's bathroom doesnt even get cleaned it is dirty and filty. Join some other gym, this one is not even worth your time.
