Gold's Gym

The gym makes makes a first good impression but buyer beware! Check it out on a summer afternoon at 5:30pm and look carefully for the out-of-service machines. The gym is under new management and is going down the tubes. Major issues are: crowding at rush hour, machines not fixed for weeks, very hot in the summer with stingy AC, indifferent front desk staff. The towels smell moldy at times. Also the shower in the men's changing room was out for months (just got fixed). Check out the competition (Bally's, Fitness First) up the street before committing.
