The staff at this place are terrible. They promise stuff and don't follow up. Can't get anyone to call back. I've been screwed over several times, discounts not given, promotions not going through, health plan discounts not approved but no one bothered to inform me so I could contact someone about it. Basically, their attitude seems to reflect that the job is just a paycheck. Get in, get out while doing as little as possible... and it shows.

The club isn't child friendly (which doesn't bother me one way or the other). However, the employees' children seem to be allowed to break the rules and run free wherever they choose. Even if your parents are working, it still doesn't seem quite right since they aren't being "directly" supervised like the rest of the kids who have a parent present.

I've been a member since it was a Northwest Club (the employee attitudes were bad then, as well). Since it has been switched to a Lifetime, the atmosphere is getting better and there do seem to be people cleaning a lot more.

The equipment is good. There are tennis courts. One of the selling features to me was that they have 3 pools (1 warm pool, 1 standard pool, and an outside pool). There are many classes and a lot of classroom space.

Overall, it would be a great club if some of the employee attitudes and practices were adjusted. It's just amazing how such a small thing can wreck an otherwise great experience. Hopefully, Lifetime will include this adjustment in addition to the tens-of-thousands of dollars they are dumping into giving the rest of the club a face lift.

I was a member of Northwest for many years. It has switched to Lifetime which has increased the fees. I have two children who can now do almost nothing at this fitness center. It is not very family oriented and the staff lets you know children are not welcome.

Veny Nice club
I have taken membership from North west club. It is now taken over by life time fitness. I visited Minneapolis N.W club, bloomington and eden prairie clubs. Compare to all of them More lake club has very good facilities. It has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, good table tennis tables, lots of Gym facilities, child care, et.,. I really love to be there when ever I have time. I take souna bath and bubble bath for refreshment. I think it is one of the best clubs. After it has taken over by Life time fitness, the staff response is not good at all. I was one staff member called a customer as A**hole. The customer was really upset. The staff member did not even say apologies after that.
