Great facilty
I have have been a member at the Edmond location for several years now and have had no problems. The front desk staff is so friendly and inviting. The rest of the staff is very nice as well. The gym always looks clean and if something is out in the locker room a person on staff jumps right to it to get it taken care of. The pool and saunas always look great and are hardly ever shut down. Overall I highly recommend this gym to anyone.

Overcharged Account
I signed up for the summer. I paid in cash. I was led to believe the contract I signed was just a formality, and that I could come in and pay by the month without my bank account being charged. They charged it anyway. I was spoken to over the phone by a very nice young man who said the person who did the contract had done the same thing to so many people that he had to be terminated. Then he let me speak to his supervisor who was very nasty to me about the situation. I'm looking to write the corporate Manager about her.

Aspen Athletc Club & Unclean Equip
To the person who used the machine after me -- I'm sorry I blew my nose 6 times then touched the bars, handles and sensors. I didn't realize I joined a fitness center (Aspen on Rockwell in Oklahoma City) that didn't care about keeping paper towels available so I could leave you a clean the machines--but I tried my best. When I went to the front desk to alert the staff, they couldn't be bothered enough to move behind the counter - not even one of the three holding up the desk. The custodial person said there were no paper towels and hadn't been for about a week. I went back to the front desk to launch another series of paper towel issues (none in the womens locker area, women's gym area or main gym room) -- but to no avail or help or any concern. By this time I ran into 2 men at the empty machines in a futile attempt to clean their machines. I watched as they walked out - sweaty and wet -just like the equipment they left for the next person. My husband who uses this gym everyday says the paper towel dispensers are always out. Exercise on the machines and pray the person before you doesn't carry a contagious disease!!!! because Aspen Athletic Club (at least the one in OKC OK on Rockwell) doesn't care about your health and safety.

I signed up for 3 years and that will be over within one month. They overcharged my account. Had no air conditioning all summer and my personal trainer (that was an Aspen trainer) stood me up a half dozen times, in fact it still haven't gotten my last session that I paid 70 bucks an hour for. Equipment is good though, that's why it isn't a 1 rating.

I have re-joined for the second time now. I terminated my membership previously b/c Aspen was over charging my bank account on several occasions. They did end up returning the money but it took over a month to do. Now that I have re-joined they are still over charging my account and no one at the front desk seems to have the same story as to why I am charged incorrectly. The saunas and pool are often shut down due to failing their health inspections. The rest rooms at all locations are almost always out of supplies and dirty towels and paper towels are lying around.
