This place was great, awesome quality equipment, clean great lighting, staff was good, environment is awesome, music was good, some of it was chopped though to sound like techno, which isn't my thang, but it was awesome. I'm planning on getting a full membership very soon. I tried the 24 hour trial, and I was super impressed. Also, employees weren't insanely strict on letting people in with their 24 hour pass papers.

I love Aspen. The classes and basketball court are great. It's always clean and a friendly environment.

Overall, a very clean environment with enough options to keep workouts from getting boring. Antiquated system for television viewing with 6 or so TV's hanging from the ceiling and members needing an FM radio to tune in the sound. With the amount of money each member is paying and Aspen buying out my last two gyms, I would like to see individual flat screens on each piece of cardio equipment like there was at Reaction Fitness. We'll have to see if they continue to honor the low rates I had at my last gym.

Choice of music
When my husband & I joined Aspen over a year ago we were told that it would be more of a family environment. Our concern was primarily about the type of music that would be played and we were assured there would be no rap music. Well surprise surprise that's all that's played at the gym. I'm surprised that other members haven't complained as well. Unfortunately, we're probably not the demographic that Aspen is concerned about. We're not between 18-35.
Editor: Apple makes this great mp3 player called the iPod. Get one today and begin working out to Kenny G rather than Jay-Z immediately.
