I once had a membership with this gym, if I had only known then what I know now. I used this gym for about 6 months before I moved to Austin. Before I moved I asked them to cancel my membership. To my surprise, they would not accept my cancellation. They told me it would have to be in writing with a manager's signature, and notorized. It was the classic run-around procedure. They use this in large business. Some industrial psychologist learned a long time ago that the more difficult you make a thing to do, the less likely it is that the thing will be done. It is also thought upon as shady business tactics by any ethical business. However, this being the case I did as was necessary to do. FOUR years later, I find they did not process my cancellation and now I have paid them 2112 dollars I did not want to pay them. So it did not matter that I played along with their shady tactics. 2112 DOLLARS!!! Tell everyone you know.
